Uli Hoeneß has dismissed suggestions that José Mourinho could tempt Michael Olise away from FC Bayern Munich following Mourinho’s appearance at the DFB-Pokal final in Berlin.

Mourinho’s presence at the match fuelled speculation in German and international media that the veteran manager was monitoring Olise, who has emerged as one of Bayern’s key attacking players since joining the club.

The French winger has attracted growing interest across Europe after a series of impressive performances.

However, Hoeneß firmly rejected any possibility of Bayern allowing the player to leave.

According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on X, Hoeneß said, “Mourinho can keep five eyes on Olise — he won’t get him.”

The comment underlined Bayern’s determination to retain the winger as part of their long-term plans.

Olise is regarded within the club as a central figure in Bayern’s future attacking project as they continue building a squad capable of competing consistently at the highest European level.

Earlier, Bayern sporting director Max Eberl had also moved to dismiss speculation surrounding the player’s future, insisting the club had no intention of entertaining transfer interest in the French international.
