The Katsina State government has deployed security agents across Daura and other parts of the state ahead of the arrival of the remains of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
News Central earlier reported that the former president died on Sunday at a hospital in London, United Kingdom.
The federal government immediately directed Vice President Kashim Shettima and the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, to accompany the president’s remains home. Buhari will be buried in his hometown, Daura, in Katsina State.
News Central gathered that security operatives have been stationed at key flashpoints, including the Umaru Musa Yar’adua International Airport, Daura Road Roundabout, and along the Kayauki–Daura axis.

Neighbours remain in grief since his death was announced on Sunday around 4:30 pm, at a London clinic at the age of 82 years.
Some residents in Daura told NAN that Buhari would continue to be remembered for his good character and disposition.
The neighbours revealed that the late President’s connects deeply with his community through his simplicity and humility.
