Congratulations are in accord as popular veteran actor, Kanayo.K.Kanayo fulfills long time dream of becoming a Lawyer.
Kanayo has now joined the list of actors who are also Lawyers. The movie star made this known via his Instagram page on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, where he shared a photo of himself wearing the traditional robe and wig.
He captioned the photograph;


“To God be all the Glory. You can now address me as Anayo Modestus Onyekwere, Esq, MFR ( Barrister And Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria),”

Kanayo studied law at the University of Abuja, Abuja.
Anayo Modestus Onyekwere. (popularly known as Kanayo O. Kanayo, was born March 1st, 1962 in Mbaise, Imo State, Nigeria. He is a Nigerian actor. In 2006 he won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role.


In 1992, Kanayo made his debut movie appearance in the film Living in Bondage. Kanayo has starred in over 100 films. His most recent movies are Up north and Living in Bondage: Breaking Free.

He is currently a United Nations ambassador and bears the title of MFR. Kanayo along with Kenneth Nnebue (producer of Living in Bondage), Olu Jacobs, Enoch Adeboye, Queen Elizabeth and Fela Kuti were among Nigerians honored by the government in 2014 during the centenary celebration.

Funke starred in the sitcom I Need to Know from 1998 to 2002, and in 2009 she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. Another actor is the iconic Richard Mofe Damijo. Richard was born 6 July 1961, popularly known as RMD, is a Nigerian actor and former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State. In 2005 he won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. He received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 12th Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2016. Mofe-Damijo was appointed as the Special Adviser of Culture and Tourism to the then Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan in 2008, then became the commissioner for the Culture and Tourism of Delta State, Nigeria in 2009. His tenure ended in 2015. The actor is popularly known for his exquisite acting in any movie role he plays.


Another actor is Falz. Folarin Falana is better known by his stage name Falz. He is a Nigerian rapper, songwriter and actor who began his career while in secondary school after forming a group called “The School Boys” with his friend before his professional career as a music artist began in 2009. Falz became more well-known after his song “Marry Me” featuring vocals from Poe and Yemi Alade. In 2016, Falz won “Best Actor in a Comedy Movie/Series” at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for his role as Segun in Funke Akindele’s TV series Jenifa’s Diary. The actor has also starred in movies like New money and the family comedy drama, Chief Daddy.
