Born in the late 1980s, Ebibote ‘Twinqle’ Okiy is a dynamic and visionary Nigerian media mogul whose career has helped shape the landscape of African storytelling, broadcasting, and creative enterprise. With an unrelenting passion for media innovation and a commitment to nurturing the next generation of creatives, his journey reflects a blend of artistic depth, strategic leadership, and entrepreneurial spirit. With a drive to bridge the gap between African creativity and global media standards, Twinqle founded Playhouse Media in 2008 and earned a reputation for excellence, delivering high-quality production and branding services to multinational corporations, local brands, and SMEs across various sectors. In a bid to give back and build a sustainable creative ecosystem, Twinqle in 2014 established the Playhouse Film Academy (PFA). The academy focused on hands-on training in filmmaking, directing, screenwriting, cinematography, and post-production.
