A Palestinian couple and two of their young children were shot and killed by Israeli forces in the northern West Bank town of Tammun on Sunday morning.
According to the Palestinian health ministry and the Red Crescent, the family was travelling in a vehicle when it came under fire.
The victims, identified as a 37-year-old man, a 35-year-old woman, and two boys aged five and seven, were transported to a hospital in Tubas with multiple gunshot wounds.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that two other children in the vehicle, aged eight and 11, survived the attack but sustained injuries from shrapnel.
The Israeli military has stated it is currently investigating the circumstances of the incident.

This tragedy occurred in an area where the Israeli military has been conducting operations against armed groups since November, despite a broader regional ceasefire that has been in place since October.
Violence in the occupied West Bank has escalated significantly since the start of the Gaza war in late 2023.
United Nations officials and local authorities have noted a sharp increase in deadly encounters involving both Israeli troops and settlers.
Since the conflict began, over 1,000 Palestinians and 45 Israelis have been killed in the territory, which remains a flashpoint of tension due to the continued expansion of Israeli settlements that are considered illegal under international law.
