Rivers State Police Command has appointed Agabe Kaborlo as its new Police Public Relations Officer.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Friday by the outgoing spokesperson, Grace Iringe-Koko, who said the appointment was approved by the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu.
Kaborlo, a native of Rivers State, was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force as an Assistant Superintendent of Police in 2023 after completing training at the Nigeria Police Academy, where she earned a law degree. She also holds a Master of Laws degree from Rivers State University.

According to the statement, she has undergone several professional trainings, including courses in combat operations, counter-terrorism, and leadership development, and has served in multiple roles within the force with notable discipline and professionalism.
Her previous postings include the Divisional Police Station in Okporo, the Human Rights Section, and the Police Public Relations Office, where she served as Second-in-Command.
The command expressed confidence in her leadership, noting that her appointment is expected to strengthen communication, transparency, and relations between the police and the public.
