The Nigeria Governors’ Forum is holding a meeting in Abuja with several state governors and deputy governors in attendance.
The meeting is being chaired by the NGF Chairman and Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
Among the governors attending are Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri, Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu, Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi, Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule.

Some governors are represented at the meeting by their deputies, including those from Katsina, Yobe, Niger and Oyo states.
The agenda of the meeting has not been publicly disclosed.
However, the prevailing security situation across the country is expected to be among the issues discussed by the governors.
The forum provides a platform for state governors to deliberate on matters affecting governance, development and coordination between the states and the Nigerian Government.
