Eleven people were killed and 27 others injured when a coach collided with a truck and overturned in western Turkey on Sunday, authorities said.
The crash occurred near the entrance to a motorway linking Bursa with the coastal city of Izmir, according to a statement by the governor’s office in Manisa district.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene, Interior Minister Mustafa Ciftci said in a separate post on the platform.

Ciftci added that authorities were monitoring developments in coordination with the relevant agencies.
“We are closely following the situation, in coordination with all the institutions concerned,” he said.
Photographs released by news agency DHA showed the coach lying across roadside safety barriers, with its windscreen shattered.
