The Nigerian Army has appointed Maj.Gen CG. Musa as the new Theatre Commander of Operation Hadin Kai North East Region. CG Musa takes over from the current Chief of Army Staff.
Similarly, Brig. Gen. O. Nwachukwu replaces Brig. Gen. Mohammed Yerima as the new Spokesperson of the Nigerian Army.
