A Lebanese health ministry report on Sunday stated that an Israeli drone strike on the southern border town of Halta resulted in the death of one person.
This incident marks the latest in a series of attacks despite a ceasefire agreement intended to end the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah militants.
Local news outlets reported that the deceased individual was killed while working on his chicken farm.
There was no immediate comment from Israel, which has continued to carry out regular strikes in Lebanon despite the November truce that sought to halt more than a year of hostilities with Hezbollah, including two months of all-out war.
Earlier in the week, two Israeli strikes on Tuesday resulted in the death of a militant leader near Beirut and another individual identified by Israel as a local Hezbollah commander in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon.
The November ceasefire agreement stipulated that Hezbollah would withdraw its fighters north of the Litani River and dismantle any remaining military infrastructure in southern Lebanon. In return, Israel was to withdraw all its forces from the south, although Israeli troops still maintain positions in five areas it considers strategically important.
