At least 54 people were killed in a bombing at a market in Omdurman, Sudan, on Saturday, according to a medical source.
The attack, carried out by the Rapid Support Forces, struck the busy area, leaving many casualties.
Hospital workers at Al-Nao Hospital, located near the site of the bombing, said they were overwhelmed by the number of injured and dead brought in following the attack.
The workers, who asked to remain anonymous, reported that the hospital struggled to handle the surge in patients.
