Nigerian Lawmakers Adjourn Plenary Abruptly Over Power Failure  

Nigerian lawmakers were forced to adjourn plenary Tuesday due to an interruption of power in the House of Representatives.

Following the power outage, the Speaker of the House, Femi Gbajabiamila, was left with no other option but to call for an adjournment.

The lawmakers all scrambled to exit from the chamber while using their phone torchlights to find their way through the darkness that engulfed the entire chamber.
