Peter Obi, presidential contender for the Labour Party in the 2023 Nigerian election, has been awarded honorary citizenship by the city of Dallas, Texas.
While in the United States, Obi visited with the mayor of Dallas and a few judges from the state of Texas.
The Labour Party candidate documented the event on Instagram, writing, “Today in Dallas Texas United States, I met with the Mayor of Dallas and his team. I had the privilege of being conferred with the honorary citizenship of Dallas. I also met with a select group of Texas Judges”.
