Africans vie for honors at the 2019 IAAF Diamond League

The 2019 IAAF Diamond League moves to Shanghai this weekend with Africa’s finest athletes on display. Athletes to look out for include South Africa’s Akani Simbine and Nigeria’s Blessing Okagbare in the men’s and women’s 100m respectively and Isaac Makwala of Botswana in the men’s 400m race.

The continents best long distance athletes will also compete for honours in the women’s 3000m steeple chase, women’s 1500m and the men’s 5000m.
