The Lagos State Government has introduced an Electronic Physical Planning Permit System, a groundbreaking initiative that promises to expedite the approval of building permits within ten minutes.
Olajide Babatunde, the Governor’s aide on Urban Development, expressed his confidence in the new system, stating, “The government is poised to revolutionise the planning approval process with the introduction of an Electronic Physical Planning Permit System.
“This innovative system will enable building approval to be obtained in just ten minutes, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for all stakeholders.”
This comes on the backdrop of criticisms the government is facing over the spate of demolitions across the state.
