The Egyptian Armed Forces have firmly denied any cooperation with Israel despite claims circulating online that Egypt is assisting Israel’s military operations.
In an official statement, the Egyptian military spokesperson dismissed these allegations, stating, “The Egyptian Armed Forces assert that there is absolutely no form of cooperation with Israel,” urging caution regarding misinformation.
Reports in Egyptian media suggested a vessel carrying arms en route to Israel had arrived at Alexandria port, sparking speculation. However, the military refuted this, clarifying that no military aid or assistance to Israel is underway.
Data from vessel-tracking sites indicate that the German-flagged MV Kathrin recently docked in Alexandria, allegedly carrying military-grade explosives. Rights groups have linked this shipment to Israel’s Elbit Systems, but Egypt’s military maintains that these claims are unfounded.
