The Director of America’s Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), John Ratcliffe, said that the United States has temporarily halted the sharing of intelligence with Ukraine following a deterioration in the relationship between Kyiv and the White House.
Last week, President Donald Trump and Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky, experienced a public disagreement in the Oval Office, which was followed by a suspension of vital US military aid from Ukraine’s primary ally.
Ratcliffe confirmed that intelligence sharing had also been put on hold as Ukraine attempted to counter the Russian invasion.

He said the suspension “on the military front and the intelligence front” is not permanent, and the United States will again “work shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine.”
On Tuesday, Trump said that Zelensky disclosed that Kyiv was prepared for discussions with Moscow and the completion of a US minerals agreement as Ukraine seeks to move forward after the confrontation in the Oval Office.
Zelensky has attempted to mend relations with Trump, saying on social media that their disagreement was “regrettable” and expressing his desire “to make things right.”
