PKK Fighters Destroy Weapons in Iraqi Kurdistan Ceremony

Thirty fighters from the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), including four commanders, destroyed their weapons in a ceremony held inside a cave near the city of Sulaimaniyah on Friday, an AFP correspondent reported.

The fighters set their weapons ablaze during the brief event in Iraq’s autonomous Kurdistan region.
