President Bola Tinubu has extended his congratulations to three Nigerian teenagers, Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad Fema, and Hadiza Kashim Kalli, for their exceptional performance at the 2025 TeenEagle Global competition in London.
The young Nigerians were named world champions in English language communication and debate.
Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, released a statement on Wednesday, August 6, detailing their achievements:

- Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, 17, won the overall best in English language skills.
- Rukayya Muhammad Fema, 15, was the overall best in debate.
- Hadiza Kashim Kalli received the outstanding talent award, a gold medal.
President Tinubu praised the students, stating that their success highlights the “quality and potential of Nigeria’s education system” and affirms a brighter future for the nation.
He also commended their schools and states for nurturing such talented individuals.
The president’s statement also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to education, citing significant investments in the sector and the establishment of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) to help indigent students access higher education.
Tinubu concluded by encouraging the three champions to continue their studies and wishing them future success.
