The temporary shutdown affects selected markets and motor parks in parts of Lokoja, Kabba-Bunu, Yagba West, Yagba East, Kogi, and Mopamuro Local Government Areas, as earlier announced by the state government to implement intensified security measures targeting terrorists, bandits, and other criminal elements.

Residents, traders, and transport operators in the affected areas were urged to “adhere strictly to the directive for the duration of the operations.”

“Members of the public are advised to plan their activities accordingly, as compliance will be closely monitored.”
