Nepali Youth took to the streets of Kathmandu on Sunday, calling for the release of an official report into the deadly 2025 uprising that led to the fall of the previous government.
At least 77 people were killed during the September 8-9 protests, which initially began over a short-lived social media ban but quickly escalated into wider protests against corruption and economic hardship.
No one has been held accountable for the deaths so far.
Following the unrest, interim leader Sushila Karki set up a commission to investigate the violence, which saw parliament and several government buildings torched.

More than 200 people, including former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, were questioned as part of the probe, which reportedly produced a 900-page report alongside thousands of pages of supporting evidence.
An activist who took part in the protest, Sanatan Rijal, said the youth were demanding answers about why the violence occurred and why so many young people were killed.
“We are here seeking the report of why the incident happened, why so many youths were killed, “Rijal told AFP.
Another activist, Laxmi Ghimire, said calls for good governance meant little without real transparency and accountability.
The protests are part of a growing wave of demonstrations in Kathmandu urging the interim government to publish the findings.
Karki has said a summary of the report will be made public, while the full recommendations are expected to be handled by the incoming administration led by the Rastriya Swatantra Party.
The party, alongside popular rapper-turned-politician Balendra Shah, played a key role in the recent political shift that saw veteran leader KP Sharma Oli defeated in the aftermath of the unrest.
