NDC Names Electoral Committee for Primaries

The Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) has revealed members of its Electoral Committee ahead of its primary elections for various political offices across the country.

The committee is expected to oversee the conduct of primaries for the State Houses of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, governorship, and presidential positions in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The announcement was made in a statement shared on Thursday through the party’s verified X account.

The party also provided fresh details regarding its forthcoming presidential, National Assembly, governorship, and state assembly primaries.

According to the statement signed by the party’s National Chairman, Moses Cleopas, and National Secretary, Barr. Ikenna Alex-Morgan Enekweizu, the primaries are scheduled to hold nationwide on May 29, 2026, in line with the timetable earlier released for May 28 and 29.
