News Central has been recognised with two major honours at the 2026 City People Awards for Excellence, with the network receiving the Best Television Channel of the Year award and its Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief, Kayode Akintemi, being named Media Personality of the Year.
The awards, presented on Sunday, July 5, 2026, celebrate individuals and organisations making notable contributions across different sectors in Nigeria.
