At least 19 people remain missing following a deadly wildfire in southern Spain that has already claimed the lives of at least 11 individuals, a regional official announced on Friday.
Juan Manuel Moreno Bonilla, the head of the regional government of Andalusia, shared the update during an interview with the Cope radio network, noting that emergency services could soon confirm a twelfth fatality.
Moreno Bonilla stated that search-and-rescue teams are actively searching for the unaccounted-for individuals.

He also revealed that four of the confirmed victims died while travelling together in the same vehicle as they attempted to escape the flames.
