South African police rescued approximately 200 people from an unregistered rehabilitation facility in Mpumalanga province on Friday.

Officers arrested two individuals at the scene and launched investigations into alleged kidnapping and severe health and safety violations.

Authorities transported 14 victims to local facilities for immediate medical treatment following the raid.
