A London jury found far-right activist Tommy Robinson guilty Wednesday of harassing two journalists, marking the latest criminal conviction for the controversial anti-immigration figurehead.
Jurors at Southwark Crown Court convicted Robinson—whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon—by 10-to-two majority decisions on two counts of harassment following nearly 12 hours of deliberation.
Prosecutors demonstrated that his aggressive campaign left the targeted journalists in severe fear of vigilante attacks, forcing them to temporarily flee their homes or hire private security.

The 43-year-old activist, who remains on bail, faces up to 10 years in prison when Judge John Cavanagh sentences him on December 16.
The conviction stems from actions Robinson took following media coverage of his activities during the 2024 UK unrest.
After the Daily Mail published an article about his social media activity, Robinson retaliated by targeting freelance reporter Andrew Young and editor Jacob Dirnhuber.

Court testimony revealed that Robinson hired private investigators to track down the personal home addresses of the journalists and Daily Mail editor-in-chief Ted Verity.
Emphasising the threat posed to newsroom staff, Verity turned over a voicemail in which Robinson cursed and stated, “I’ve already located every … one of you.”
Robinson denied the charges throughout the trial, which billionaire X owner Elon Musk helped finance.
Following the verdict, Robinson called the decision “just insane” on social media, declaring “we fight on” while his media venture immediately petitioned supporters for appeal funds.

The ruling adds to a long list of legal troubles for the English Defence League co-founder, who already holds prior convictions for assault, fraud, and contempt of court.
