The All Progressives Congress (APC) released a supplementary list on Wednesday, expanding the leadership and membership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 Presidential Campaign Council.
Signed by National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka, the official statement confirmed that the new appointments span multiple directorates, sectoral groups, and operational units.
Outlining the motivation behind the enlargement, the party stated, “The All Progressives Congress (APC) hereby releases a supplementary list of leadership and membership of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), expanding the composition of the Council ahead of the 2027 general election.”
The latest additions build upon a series of structural expansions following the council’s initial launch in August 2026.
Led by President Tinubu as Chairman, the campaign leadership includes Vice President Kashim Shettima, APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, former Zamfara Governor Senator Abdulaziz Yari as Director-General, and Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma as Secretary.

Mid-October revisions introduced a broader coalition strategy by appointing prominent opposition figures to key regional roles, including Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, and Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo as state coordinators.
Following the council’s formal inauguration on October 14, 2026, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the APC added specialised directorates covering election planning, security intelligence, grassroots mobilisation, and civil society outreach.
Party leaders emphasised that Wednesday’s supplementary appointments aim to solidify nationwide campaign coordination and enhance voter engagement as preparations intensify for the upcoming 2027 general election.
