MOROCCO TO EMBARK ON NATIONWIDE CURFEW

Morocco will be embarking on a three- week curfew as the number of coronavirus cases spike daily in the country.

The announcement was made by the government on Monday, alongside other restrictive measures.

The curfew will begin on Wednesday and last from 9pm to 6am, and it affects all, including restaurants, supermakets, cafes, shops etc. All public and private assemblies are also banned till further notice.

In the bigger cities such as Marrakech, Tangier, Casablanca and Agadir, they are expected to close for a straight 3 weeks.

Recently there has been a record of 2,000 coronavirus cases daily in the country.
