The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has released the schedule for its nationwide congresses and national convention, part of the party’s constitutional process to renew leadership at all levels.

In a statement on Saturday, ADC spokesperson Bolaji Abdullahi said the exercise will begin with polling unit and ward congresses, proceed to local government and state congresses, and culminate in the national convention.

Abdullahi said the process is designed to strengthen internal democracy within the party.

“This process forms part of our party’s constitutional responsibility to renew its leadership structures across all levels of the organization, beginning from the polling units and wards through the local government and state levels, culminating in the National Convention,” the statement reads.

The ADC also noted that its free online membership registration, launched in March ahead of the 2027 general election, continues as part of its efforts to expand and revalidate its membership nationwide.
