It’s semi final day at the ongoing Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Niger. Nigeria, Mali, Senegal and South Africa are the last four countries at the tournament and will be vying for a place in the final on Wednesday.

Nigeria play Mali in the first semi final at the Stade Général Seyni Kountché. The seven-time African champions won Group A while Mali finished second in Group B.

The other semi final which is also set for the same venue pits Group B winners Senegal and Group A runners up South Africa in a repeat of the last four tie in 2017 that was won by the Young Lions.

Meanwhile, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approved a request by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for the Flying Eagles to wear black armbands in honour of departed former NFF Secretary-General and Member of Board, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi.
