A chartered air ambulance carrying seven people has crashed in eastern India, according to the country’s aviation authorities.
The aircraft, identified as a Beechcraft C90, went down in the Kasaria area of Jharkhand while operating a medical evacuation flight, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said.
The condition of those on board, including two crew members, was not immediately confirmed.
Officials said emergency responders had been deployed to the crash site, while investigators from the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau were being sent to determine the cause of the incident.

The plane, operated by Redbird Airways Pvt Ltd, had departed from Ranchi en route to Delhi with a patient and medical team.
