Ansem Blasts Sarkodie Over Fake Award

Hiplife veteran Asem has once again decided to take shots at his favorite target Sarkodie after the rapper embarrassed himself going for fake awards.

Sarkodie, Berla Mundi and many other celebrities have been humiliated after receiving so-called UN Kofi Annan gold awards from a known fraudster without doing their due diligence.

The man giving out the awards, Dr Kwame Owusu Fordjour, is apparently an alleged fraudster.

A twitter user has carried out an ‘expose’ into Dr Fordjour revealing the award he gave the celebs is a sham.

Sarkodie recently proudly tweeted that he had received the 7th Global Leadership Service to Humanity award under the auspices of the UN and Kofi Annan Foundation.

The rush for awards apparently made these celebs too happy that they didn’t carry out and due diligence. The awards they’re claiming is not affiliated to the UN or Kofi Annan in any way.

This so-called Dr handing out the awards, Dr Kwame Owusu Fordjour. had been arrested about 10 years ago for running a scam on rural banks following a similar award format.

Sarkodie and other numerous Ghanaian celebrities fell prey to this sham.

After they were exposed for going for fake awards, Ghanaians have taken to social media in droves to troll the stars, especially Sarkodie.

Whilst most of the others involved have now deleted the pictures and moved on, Sarkodie has not and continues to cherish this fake award.

Asem in a post on Twitter says that is because Sarkodie has low self-esteem and he needs awards for validation.

Asem mocked D-Black and Sarkodie over this award saga  in a post on Twitter.

“But D black too I shock give am ooo big man with a big neck & head you slack make this guy do you 419 ? Sark en own de3 I never shock Kabutey will do anything for award he has an empty hole he needs validation to file it up,” he wrote.

“Every second that Sarkodie keeps the awards up just proves that he really is an award junkie!

What kind of self respecting person keeps a fake award up on his timeline when everyone has already exposed it as fake?”

Michael Owusu Addo was born July 10, 1988 and known popularly and professionally as Sarkodie is a Ghanaian rapper and entrepreneur from Tema. His contributions to the Ghanaian music industry have earned him numerous accolades, including the Vodafone Ghana Music Award for “Artiste of the Decade”. He was announced the first winner of BET’s Best International Flow act at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards. He is also considered one of the major proponents of the Azonto genre and dance.

This makes everyone wonder why he his hell bent on keeping accolades from a fake award.
