BREAKING: 387,000 UTME Candidates to Resit Exam After JAMB Admits Errors

The head of Nigeria’s Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Professor Ishaq Oloyede, became emotional and wept on Wednesday as he publicly apologised for mistakes that occurred during the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

“I apologise for the trauma caused to the candidates,” a tearful Oloyede stated during a press conference held in Abuja.

Earlier in the briefing, Professor Oloyede had acknowledged that “one or two errors” were made during the administration of the 2025 UTME.
