Dreaded terrorist leader, Dogo Gide known for audacious acts of terror, has been killed after sustaining gunshot wounds during a gunfire exchange with Nigerian troops.
The operation happened in Madada Forest, Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
Dogo Gide’s death is a major victory for the Nigerian Military, particularly the combined efforts of the 1st and 8th Divisions of the Nigerian Army.
Dogo Gide, who had been declared a wanted terrorist, inflicted terror across the region. He was reportedly buried in Dandalla village.
His presence in the hospital was allegedly facilitated by a security operative currently in custody, raising concerns about possible collusion within security ranks.
