The reunion concert by K-pop group BTS attracted an estimated 18.4 million viewers globally, according to Netflix, showcasing the group’s sustained global appeal after years apart.
The seven-member act performed together for the first time over the weekend following a hiatus driven by mandatory military service, returning to the stage a day after releasing their new album ARIRANG.
The concert took place against the backdrop of Gyeongbokgung Palace, reinforcing their image as global ambassadors of Korean culture.
Netflix said its livestream of the event drew 18.4 million viewers worldwide and ranked in its weekly Top 10 across 80 countries, topping charts in 24 markets.

The company noted that the figures were based on its internal viewership data.
The performance, held at Gwanghwamun Square, marked Netflix’s first live event in South Korea and its first global livestream of a music concert.
During the show, the group performed “Body to Body,” a track from the new album that samples the traditional Korean folk song Arirang, often regarded as the country’s unofficial anthem.
The concert drew more than 100,000 attendees in central Seoul, according to the group’s label, although official city estimates ranged between 40,000 and 50,000 due to differences in crowd measurement methods.
The label also reported that the album’s lead track “SWIM” topped Spotify’s global daily chart for three consecutive days, while “Body to Body” held the number two position over the same period.
Following the performance, BTS is set to begin its “ARIRANG” world tour on April 9 in Goyang, with 82 shows planned across 34 cities worldwide.
