Chinese President Xi Jinping issued a congratulatory message to the 38th African Union Summit, reinforcing China-Africa ties on Saturday, February 15, 2025.

As reported by Xinhua, Jinping emphasised the emergence of the Global South, particularly in light of complicated global difficulties, with China and Africa playing critical roles in moulding the international order.

According to Xinhua, the Chinese President praised the African Union’s leadership in furthering regional integration, overcoming barriers, and increasing Africa’s worldwide impact as a single “voice of Africa.”

He emphasised the thriving China-Africa connection, citing the momentum produced by the successful Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.

This signified a new era of collaboration, with both parties dedicated to creating an all-weather community with a common destiny, Jinping stated.

Looking ahead, Jinping expressed determination to work with African leaders on ambitious modernisation projects and partnership measures that will benefit over 2.8 billion people in China and Africa.
