At least two people have died after a two-storey building collapsed in a suburb of Limassol in southern Cyprus, officials and state media reported.
Fire Service spokesperson Andreas Kettis said rescuers recovered a body from the rubble as emergency teams continued searching for possible survivors trapped beneath the debris.

Public broadcaster CyBC reported that a second person was found unconscious during rescue operations and was thought to be dead.
Four others were taken to the hospital with injuries described as not life-threatening.
Police spokesperson and head of the Limassol criminal investigation department, Kostas Michael, said the building “collapsed like a house of cards”.
Local authorities stated that the building had previously been flagged as unsafe before it collapsed.
