Dan Ndoye Joins Forest from Bologna

Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Swiss winger Dan Ndoye from Bologna on a five-year contract. The 24-year-old ends his two-year spell in Serie A after scoring nine goals in 41 appearances last season.

He notably netted the winning goal in the Coppa Italia final against AC Milan in May, securing Bologna’s first major trophy in over five decades.

“It’s a really exciting time at Forest, and I knew immediately that I wanted to be part of the project,” said Ndoye. “It’s an ambitious team with a fantastic history, and I’m eager to get started.”

Ndoye made his senior debut for Switzerland in 2022 and has since earned 22 caps, scoring three international goals.

He becomes Forest’s third major summer signing, following the arrivals of Igor Jesus and Jair Cunha from Botafogo.

Meanwhile, the club sold Anthony Elanga to Newcastle United but managed to keep hold of Morgan Gibbs-White, who signed a new deal despite interest from Tottenham Hotspur, who had triggered his £60 million release clause.
