Dangote Approaches Libya and Angola for Crude Oil Import

Dangote Refinery has declared its interest in importing crude oil from Libya and Angola due to a supply shortage in Nigeria.
Speaking with Reuters on Sunday, Devakumar Edwin, the Vice President of Dangote Industry Limited (DIL), said the refinery will explore sourcing crude oil from other African countries in addition to Libya and Angola.

“We are talking to Libya about importing crude.
“We will talk to Angola, as well and some other countries in Africa,” Edwin said.

The refinery’s request for crude oil from the United States and Brazil comes after its request from the two African countries.
