Davido’s “A Good Time” hits over 115 million streams on Spotify

Just about three months after its release, Davido’s sophomore album “A Good Time” has recorded 115,424,897 total streams on Spotify. This makes it one of the most commercially successful African albums released on the world’s leading music streaming service in 2019.

Spotify made this announcement via their data account SpotifyDailies.

One of the album’s lead singles ‘Blow My Mind’ has also hit over 25 million streams.

Just a few days earlier, the album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry of South Africa. The singer also received plaques for singles off the star-studded album.

The Chris Brown-assisted single, ‘Blow My Mind’ was certified platinum while ‘Risky’ featuring Popcaan went double platinum.

The album was released in November 2019 through RCA Records, Sony Music and his own imprint, Davido Music Worldwide.

A follow-up to his 2012 debut album “Omo Baba Olowo,” “A Good Time” contained 17 tracks and featured Naira Marley, Gunna, Summer Walker, Chris Brown, Popcaan, Peruzzi and others.
