Dele Cole, a veteran Nigerian journalist and diplomat who served as Nigeria’s ambassador to Argentina and Brazil, has reportedly died, according to family sources.

He died at the age of 86 on Saturday morning, the family sources said.

Cole had previously served as managing director of the Daily Times.
