A trailer for an upcoming documentary series revealing Ed Sheeran’s personal struggles last year dropped online. The multi-Grammy award-winning singer opened up about his wife’s tumor diagnosis and his best friend Jamal Edwards’ death. Ed opened up about dealing with the loss of a close friend and his wife, Cherry’s tumour diagnosis while pregnant with their second child.
News of this documentary comes a few weeks after Ed announced his upcoming album ‘Subtract’. The much-anticipated album drops on May 3, this year, a few days before the Disney plus documentary drops.
The 32-year-old singer in response to his challenging past year has begun writing a posthumous album. In a recent interview, the ‘thinking out loud’ singer said “I want to slowly make this album that is quote-unquote ‘perfect’ for the rest of my life, adding songs here and there,” says Sheeran. “And just have it in my will that after I die, it comes out.”
Although fans are saddened by what Ed has been through, it’s countdown till both the album ‘subtract’ and the documentary, Ed Sheeran: The Sum Of It All drops.
