Former Israeli Defence Minister Moshe Ya’alon sharply criticised Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government, describing it as “messianic,” “evasive,” and “corrupt.” Ya’alon, leader of the right-wing Telem Party, expressed concerns about the Israeli government’s handling of negotiations with Hamas, claiming the government is “losing control” of the situation.
In a post on X, Ya’alon also criticised the US administration for engaging in direct talks with Hamas, calling it a breach of an important principle. He suggested that the US was acting according to its own interests rather than those of the Israeli government.

Ya’alon concluded by urging the need for a change in leadership, stating that to save the country and the hostages, the government should be replaced as soon as possible.
