Fella Makafui And Medikal welcomes First Child

Ghanaian actress Fella Makafui and award-winning rapper, Medikal welcomes their first child. Makafui is married to the singer and rapper Medikal
The actress gave birth to a baby girl and the delivery was smooth without any complications.
Medikal in an Instagram post shared a photo of him carrying the newborn baby in his bosom.
He said: “Welcome to the universe my queen. Islan Frimpong. You no get problem, God got us.”
Fella Precious Makafui who was born 19th August, 1995 in Volta Region, Ghana is a Ghanaian actress and a philanthropist. She is known mostly for her role in Yolo (Ghanaian TV series).Fella attended Kpando Senior high and graduated. After her high school she attended the University of Ghana. Makafui started her career as a model, she later went into acting which brought her to limelight when she starred in the popular YOLO (You Only Live Once) television series. Fella was featured in a couple movies like Swings, Once upon a family, Kanda River and Chaskele. In once upon a family, Fella got to work alongside Nigerian actress Mercy Johnson who played the lead role. She is currently the new ambassador of Castle gate Estate
Fella has awards to her name like the City People Entertainment Award (2016) for the most promising actress of the year. She also won the Golden Most Promising of the Golden Movie Awards 2016.
While her husband, Samuel Adu Frimpong who was born 4th April 1993, popularly known as Medikal, is a Ghanaian hip hop musician.
He comes from Sowutuom, a town in the suburb or Accra in Ghana. Medikal and Sarkodie had the highest nominations for the 2017 edition of the Ghana Music Awards In 2018, he was on the Tim Westwood Show. Medikal attended his high school at Odorgonno Senior High and is the son of James Frimpong and Portia Lamptey. Samuel adopted the name Medikal because he was fascinated with rapping about doctors, surgeons, medical practitioners and hospitals in general. He has made a name for himself in the music industry through hard work and his numerous collaboration with successful artists. Apart from is nominations in 2017, he won the best discovery video in the MTN 4Syte Video Award in 2016.
Medikal has four albums to his name. He released the album, Medikation in 2013. He then released another album which he called Disturbation in 2017. He went on to release another album in 2019 and called it The Plug EP. This year 2020, Medikal released Island the album.
In 2019, Medikal was nominated for many awards at the VGMA (Vodafone Ghana music awards), nominations like Afro Pop Song Of The Year, Hip Hop Song Of The Year, Hip-life/Hip Pop Artist Of The Year, Hip Hop Artist of the year, Best Rapper of the year where he won two out of them which are hip hop artist of the year and best rapper of the year.
In 2020, Medikal’s song “Omo Ada” won the VGMA (Vodafone Ghana Music Awards) hip-life song of the year.
Congratulations to the couple as the birth of their baby girl is another big win for them.
