The Round of 16 fixtures for the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup have been officially confirmed, following the completion of the group stage matches in the early hours of Monday.
Nigeria’s Flying Eagles secured their place in the knockout stage after a hard-fought 1–1 draw with Colombia in their final group game. The result saw Aliyu Zubairu’s team finish the group phase with four points from three matches, enough to advance to the Round of 16.
Norway also booked their spot in the next round after sharing the spoils in a 1–1 draw with Saudi Arabia.
The Round of 16 fixtures are scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, as the competition enters its decisive stage.
