World football governing body FIFA has appointed a normalisation committee to run the Namibia Football Association (NFA). The move comes following a recent visit by a delegation after Namibia FA elections were not held as planned on the fifth of December 2018.

The committee will act as an electoral committee and none of its members will be eligible for any of the positions in the elections. It will perform its functions until it has fulfilled all of its tasks, but no later than May 31.
