Five People Shot at School in Örebro, Sweden

Five people were shot at a school in Örebro, central Sweden, on Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

The shooting occurred around 13:00 local time, 200km west of Stockholm. The extent of the injuries is currently unclear.

Students are being transferred from schools near the site of the shooting in Örebro, police also confirmed.

Authorities stressed that “the danger is not over” and urged the public to continue staying away from the area as investigations continue.
