A fatal accident on the Agaie-Lapai Road in Niger State has claimed four lives and left 13 others injured.
The collision, which occurred near Al’Farma International School in Agaie Local Government Area, involved three trailer trucks, one carrying livestock.

Cause and Impact
According to Abdullahi Baba-Arah, Director General of the Niger State Emergency Management Agency (NSEMA), the accident resulted from improper overtaking.
- Two victims died instantly, while two others succumbed at the hospital.
- Around 15 cattle and over 20 goats also perished.
- Injured victims are receiving treatment at Agaie General Hospital.
Emergency Response
NSEMA operatives, alongside local volunteers, arrived promptly for rescue operations, transporting casualties and clearing the wreckage.
Authorities have urged motorists to drive cautiously to prevent further tragedies. Investigations are ongoing.
