Gaza Ceasefire, Hostage Deal ‘Must Hold’ – UN Chief

According to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the truce and hostage arrangement between Israel and Hamas “must hold” as negotiations on a second phase of the pact begin in Cairo on Friday.

“The agreement on hostage release and ceasefire must be upheld. The next several days are crucial. “The parties must do everything in their power to prevent this agreement from falling apart,” Guterres told reporters at the UN headquarters in New York.
