Police authorities in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have revealed that gunmen, disguised as vigilantes, abducted three family members in Chikakore community.
The FCT Police Command’s spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, said the attackers stormed the area around 10:00 am on Monday, armed with machetes and sticks.
The suspects deceived the victim into opening his gate before abducting him and his family. A neighbour who tried to intervene was injured and taken to Kubwa General Hospital for treatment.
The police have launched search and rescue operations, calling on residents to remain vigilant and report any helpful information.
